As you may or may not know Kendal Jenner wore a faux fringe and top knot to the recent American music awards and it totally inspired me to dig out and dust off my one too!
My faux fringe is 100% real human hair which allows me to style it without damage and also helps blend into my own hair seamlessly.
You can purchase these faux fringes from eBay or anywhere that would sell clip in extensions.
I have fallen in love with some new products recently and thought I’d share what they are and also some of my all time faves.
For this look I used my Nars tinted moisturiser in St Moritz which is an old fave as a base and then my new favourite creamy Nars concealer in the shade custard, I have fallen in love with this concealer and I’ve only been using it under 2 weeks! I had my eye on it for a while and am so happy I finally tried it out, the consistency is thick enough to cover my under eye dark circles and its buildable too but not cakey, I went for a slightly lighter shade to give a highlighting effect.
For my foundation I only use powder, I have for as long as I remember I really don’t like the feel of creams or liquids as it feels uncomfortable on and I get too oily, so on my skin I use Bare Minerals in medium beige and golden tan, I use two shades because I like to transition from summer to winter and I like to mix them together to create the perfect shade depending on what season it is.
I also use a Kiko pressed powder to set on top, I bronze my skin with the bare minerals warmth and contour & with Kiko daring game collection contour kit in precious sienna.
I highlight my cheekbones tip of nose and brow bone with my all time favourite holy grail of highlighters The Balm Mary Lou-maniser and my blush is Mac Desert rose which can be a bit much so I use sparingly.
For my eyes I used my new favourite liquid eyeliner supercat by Soap & Glory, now let me tell you that I have never really liked felt liners as I find they weren’t that effective for me and drag the colour off the eye BUT… I love how I can get strong clean lines with this felt pen I have been totally converted and will definitely be adding this to my collection as a permanent favourite.
I used my fairly new L’Oreal telescopic carbon black mascara for my lashes and so far I’m undecided on whether I like it… the reason being is I find the formula really wet and can get clumpy on the lashes which I hate as I like fluttery lashes not spidery ones! I find if I remove some of the product off the brush with a clean spoolie I can then use it with ease, The reason I like it is because the colour is an intense black which I love and although I was first sceptical about the comb style brush I have grown to like it now.
On my lips are my absolute obsession colourpop liquid lipsticks in chilly chili and the shade trap in the centre to create the ombre effect, I just can’t tell you enough how much I love these liquids lipsticks I highly recommend them!
I will be doing tutorials on my YouTube page on make up looks, hauls and reviews of my favourite make up and beauty products in the next couple weeks so please bare with me and keep your eyes peeled!
